Organizing the Second Series of Equestrian Champions League

KOMPAS.com - The second series of Equestrian Champions League (ECL) has just been held at the APM Equestrian Center on March 6-8, 2020. The second series of ECL is a continuation of the previous first series at Jakarta International Pulomas Park Jakarta (JIEPP) on February 14-16 2020 ago.

The presence of the equestrian league aims to support the development and development of the equestrian industry. This was stated by the founder of the ECL and Chairman of the Board of the Indonesian Equestrian Sports Association (PP. Pordasi), Triwatty Marciano.

"With the league, there will be more competition so that it supports the growth of the Indonesian equestrian sport industry," Triwatty said. The second ECL series was held for three days by competing in two categories namely show jumping (riding control over obstacles) and dressage (a combination of aesthetics and good horse control) with a total of 341 entries, 197 horses, and 188 athletes.

The classes competed in the second ECL series have been arranged and adapted to the PP Pordasi program in coaching athletes and horses. As such, ECL is the first equestrian match that has a complete athlete achievement database, club system points, and athlete system rankings.

Participants also felt the second series progressed better. One of the horse athletes, M Akbar Kurniawan, or nicknamed Aan, felt more experience in the league this time. "This second ECL League series is better than the first series," said Aan. Other athletes from Equinara Horse Sport, Marco Wowiling, also agreed. He considered the preparation of ECL better and better preparation.
